Very tasty! We order Pollo con tajadas, chicken was very juicy. Carne asada, and pupusas also very good! The pineapple juice was delicious. We will make room for dessert next time..

Really nice place. Seems to be almost family run. The table clothes are soft and clean and representative of the restaurant.I had the lunch special and it came with a soda and chips and salsa. I was pretty impressed.

My boyfriend and I discovered La Campesina on a road trip from Philadelphia to Asheville and we were blown away! We loved it so much we planned our drive home so we could stop there again for dinner! Can’t wait to go back!

Finally - a GREAT tres leches in the area! Sure, I agree this place is "cozy", as mentioned in other reviews, but don't be fooled by its size. This place is a big winner! We ordered the yuca and pork to start, the corn tamal, and the steak fajitas. Everything was fantastic. ...but the tres leches is definitely the best around. Oh, and the staff was very friendly. You will love this place.

My family and I tried La Campesina restaurant for the first time. The food was great, freshly cooked very tasty, and well presented. Ramon was very attentive, overall a good meal and great value. We’ll definitely be going back.Would HIGHLY recommend anyone to try it out.

Excellent food, music, and friendly service. Not an overwhelming menu and food made fresh, therefore, patience is key! My wife, 2.5yr old son, and I enjoyed the menu and the overall atmosphere greatly. Would love to know where the table cloths are made/bought.

We were happy to find out this restaurant had reopened. This place is cozy! Our waiter was very good. Our food was tasty and served relatively quick. The owner came by our table to thanks us for coming out tonight! How personable is that! Great dining experience!

We drove by the place and we stopped to try it out and it was such a smart choice. The salsa is amazing and so are the freshly made chips and the burrito was packed with flavor. This place is 10/10

I love this place. This was my first time buying food from here and im so glad I saw it while stuck in crazy traffic. I order my favorite dishes platano frito, cheese pupusas, lentil soup and yuca. Let me start by saying I am overly picky with my spanish food because I was born and raise on home cooked spanish food. I tried not to have high hopes but this place did not disappoint me. This is my new favorite place and im so glad it openned up.

I liked it. My first time there. Had taco salad with beef. Beef had a good flavor. The salad ingredients were fresh. Portions were fair for the price. I'll be going back to try another menu item. Friendly staff.

Wow. Girlfriend and I decided to try a new place for takeout and this surpassed expectations. I had the best carne asada I’ve ever had and my girlfriend loved her chicken soup. Truly authentic. I honestly can’t wait to go eat there in person soon.

Oh my! Heavenly Salvadoran Mexican food! Everything we tasted was delicious and presented beautifully. The margaritas were so tasty and fresh- not made from a mix. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this new little place!

Using my Dru's Rating Scale. I give this place a solid 3.5 stars out of 5 Yum Stars. I love the atmosphere and decor. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us amazing customer service. The Flan wasn't dry or too moist for it to be made with Custer. 🤘🏽 And for a Mexican-Salvadorian mashup of a restaurant. It's very put together. So shout out to the cook, staff, and owner. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! It’s a gem ❤️

I saw a sign for this place just before the CV-19 crisis started and was craving Mexican food a week ago. Decided to give it a try and found the staff friendly and food delicious. I returned a week later to try different items on the menu and had the same exact experience. VERY excited to have such great tasting and consistent Mexican and Salvadorean food in this area. Strongly recommended!

The location is very unassuming and not the easiest to see from the road. The prices are reasonable around 20 plate. The food was pretty good. They didn’t have the Sopa de Res when I went. Everything else about our dining experience was great!
